La Vie Parisienne

Parisian born Catherine Popesco started this line to celebrate the art of traditional French jewelry making.  The designer’s fashion mission is to revive, “the elegance and grace of France’s golden Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras,” of the 1900s thru the 1930s. She designs much of her La Vie Parisienne collection using original vintage molds from the early 1900s.

Despite her deep and endless love of vintage French design, Popesco travels the world in search of original cultural inspiration. She incorporates these worldly visions into her jewelry, making all of her La Vie Parisenne lines imaginative and unique. Did we mention that her exquisite pieces are also handmade?

Each La Vie Parisienne piece is silver-plated over a copper base, then set by hand with Swarovski crystals or brushed with either colored enamel or stained glass. The jewelry is made on a vineyard at the Loire Valley at Au Bout de Reves in a small workshop Peopesco built herself. To update this collection she has now include pieces with a brushed gold-plated finish.
