Beautifully made shoe – but the Velcro closure is a challenge
"I purchased the Eos Espadrilke sandal in brown, and overall, it is a beautifully constructed shoe. The leather is gorgeous, the color is exactly as pictured, and the sandal looks elegant on the foot. The heel height is perfect—high enough to be stylish, yet comfortable enough that I never feel like I'm walking on stilts. My only challenge is the Velcro strap. I have somewhat narrow feet and slim ankles, so I need to pull the strap very tight to keep my foot securely in place. Because of that, the excess portion of the back strap extends slightly and becomes visible in the front, which affects the otherwise polished appearance. Even with that minor issue, I absolutely love the shoe and am seriously considering purchasing a second pair in black. The quality, comfort, and design make it worth it. Fortunately, I have an excellent cobbler, and I plan to work with him to see if there’s a way to modify the strap for a better fit. One suggestion for a future version of this sandal would be to replace the Velcro closure with an adjustable buckle. A buckle would provide a more customized and secure fit for those of us with narrower feet and ankles while maintaining the shoe’s elegant appearance. Overall, this is a beautiful, well-made sandal that I would happily recommend, especially for those with average or wider feet and ankles."
